Basic4PPC and myWorks

Designer Notes

myWorks is a personal database system developed using Basic4PPC from Anywhere Software. It comes in two versions, one for the Pocket PC under Windows Mobile and the other an XP desktop release. Both take advantage of user contributed libraries to extend the power of Basic4PPC. The database engine is supplied by SQLite.

The available source code includes a large amount of instructional material, code examples and five sample databases demonstrating the flexibility of the application. A user modifiable help facility as well as a "Tip of the Day" provide further assistance.

Further Information

There are many good examples of using basic commands. Load the myworks.sbp file into the IDE and begin to browse the code.
